Cobalt-binding capacity of albumin - a sensitive marker of coronary ischemia

sobnost albumin levels
8 izoprostaglandina F2-A in 19 patients who underwent diagnostic
angiography.

During the procedure, all 19 patients reported chest pain, 18 patients
observed transient changes in the segment ST. After inflating the balloon
concentration of modified albumin (blood was taken from the catheter-wire)
increased in 18 patients, and the level of prostaglandin - only in 9.

Mean levels of modified albumin and remained elevated for a fence
blood vessels of the thigh 30 min after the intervention. Concentration
prostagladina not increased either immediately or 30 min after the procedure. Level
modified albumin returned to baseline at 12 h after
intervention.

Compared with the 8-izoprostagladninom F2-A, a modified albumin is
more reliable marker of myocardial ischemia in patients with chest pain and
ST changes during percutaneous coronary intervention.
